Neoton Finale Concert

Neoton Família will give a career-summing-up concert entitled Neoton Finálé on January 10, 2026 at the MVM Dome in Budapest. The concert will feature the biggest hits of the iconic band's 60-year existence, accompanied by state-of-the-art sound and visual technology. 'The Finale – which is always the pinnacle of a performance – can be interpreted in many ways, and indeed, it could even be the closing of an era. One thing is certain: it will be the biggest Neoton concert to date,' said the three founding members, Éva Csepregi, Ádám Végvári and János Baracs.

The Stars of Neoton Família have been the main characters of many big parties, but what they are preparing now surpasses them all. Éva Csepregi, Ádám Végvári and János Baracs will present the production titled Finálé on the stage of the MVM Dome on January 10, 2026. The members of the band told Blikk at Éva's house in Szentendre that they will take the stage in the country's largest indoor hall at the beginning of next year.

– We are preparing for the biggest Neoton Família Stars concert of all time! – Ádám Végvári, the band’s singer-guitarist, interrupted. – It’s only March, but we are already planning with full force what will happen on stage. The backbone of the show is given, as the audience always expects our biggest hits. We plan to play many songs differently than they are used to from us, and I don’t even think it’s unthinkable that we will prepare a new song or two.

But why is the party called Finale?

– The title Finale can be interpreted in several ways, and indeed, it could even be the end of an era – said the band’s bassist, János Baracs. – I can tell you that the many performances keep us young, and retirement is not among our plans. Last year, for example, we had 50-60 concerts, and during the busiest period we took the stage seven times in eight days, while traveling 2,800 kilometers. This production will of course be different in every way. It is probably unique and unrepeatable. For me, a big concert is like a date with a very beautiful woman. I try to prepare myself, to show my most beautiful face. The anticipation is full of excitement, and if it works out as I expected, then I can be happy. So, if there is a full house and success, that is catharsis itself for me.

Éva Csepregi gave a highly successful oeuvre concert in January 2024 at the Papp László Budapest Sports Arena, and another extra performance will follow at the beginning of 2026, this time still on location, at the MVM Dome.

– I liked the title right away, because the finale is always the pinnacle of a performance – said the singer of the Neoton Família Stars. – We will primarily celebrate the songs: our biggest hits span sixty years, and while we play these songs, I always remember a story about their birth. By the way, when my son Dávid was still little, we often invented holidays for ourselves so that everyday life would be colorful. It is certain that January 10, 2026 will be a big holiday in our lives! I am already preparing a lot, I have watched a lot of concert films recently, and my mind is always on how to keep the Neoton band rolling. And my son, who is the drummer of our band, looks at this world through the eyes of young people, and I am sure that many new, spectacular elements will await the audience at this concert.

The history of Neoton goes back to the sixties. In October 1983, Ádám and Éva won the grand prize of the Yamaha Music festival in Japan with the song "Holnap hajnalig". One of the official songs of the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, "Korea", was sung by Éva Csepregi and Leslie Mandoki. Éva Csepregi, Ádám Végvári and János Baracs have been performing under the name of the Stars of Neoton Família since 2005, and their success is unbroken.
